Oppo, what are some of your favorite android apps? Free is best of course, but post whatever you want.

Cam Scanner has basically eliminated any need to have a stand-alone scanner. You get an ad-free experience if you register with a .edu address.
I'm guessing Google Maps comes standard, so there's that. Other apps you want are Google Chrome and Google Keep, the latter doing a great job converting mouth noise to text.
Agent is a great app for a few bucks, if not free. It silences your phone based on your schedule, sleeping habits, and driving habits plus it also optimizes your battery life.

Everything else I have is really personalized like a lightmeter, sensor suite and games that I always download but never play...

You mean Android Apps in general? Or car-related apps? (I assume you meant the latter.)
I like DigiHUD, for its simple functionality of a digital speedo. And optionally, a clock, a compass, max speed and average speed reading, speed warning and (though I haven't used it myself) a HUD mode.
If you live in the Netherlands, then Flitsmeister @ Google Play Store is a must-have:
It's a combined traffic jam / speed trap / traffic light camera / mobile speed trap alert system, with near real-time updates for both traffic jams and mobile speed cameras. You can signal the presence of a mobile speed trap, that gets shared, and if you pass an alledged speed trap, you can verify its presence (or not). It makes for a very reliable warning system.
For weather app, with rain radar images, I use Accuweather @ Google Play Store

I've heard that the carriers can tell if you're using something like FoxFi and send you a bill...

Photo Hacker is a great free photo shop tool for the phone allows you to roughly cut/paste and is the only free one that allows you to use touch to select and highlight the area you want to crop. The others use preselected size and shapes so they look eespecially bad.
Zillow is nice if your into property value even if your not its nice to see what the world around you is worth.

I like GTasks a lot, it also has a reminder function but needs to be more intrusive. Google Maps came with my phone, it is incredibly useful especially when on foot. Flashlight is invaluable, seriously it is the first app anyone should get. I have the Shadow Era app which is the best card game I have ever played (and is cross-platform too). It can also be installed to SD card without having to do those dev hacks. All apps are free

Circa - Relevant news culled by humans and presented in an easy-to-read format. Free.
QuickPic - A fantastic Gallery replacement. Free.
Falcon Pro - My personal favorite Twitter client. Free, but it's a bit tricky to set up. Free.
Dashclock Widget - Really handy lockscreen widget. Can show a ton of info. Free.
Light Flow - Lets you control the notification light on your phone. Free, with a paid version that unlocks many more notifications form other apps.
Pocket - An app that lets you save web pages, pictures and videos for later, plus lets you sync them across devices. Free.
Pushbullet - Lets you display your phone's notifications on your computer through your web browser, plus you can send files and notes between your devices. Free.
Unified Remote - Allows you to control your PC from your phone. Free, but there's a paid version that unlocks all the features.
Spotify - Essential if you're a Spotify Premium subscriber. Either that or Google Play All Access . Free, but subscriptions cost $10/month, though Spotify has a free tier that lets you listen to Spotify Radio and shuffled playlists.
Nova Launcher Prime - My favorite launcher, combined with the Nox icon pack , though you can use pretty much any icon pack. I think it's $4 for Nova Prime and $0.99 for the icon pack.
Tasker - The freakin' coolest app ever. Allows you to automate your phone. Tons of plugins to make it even better. ~$5, but totally worth it.
